Are you an economic development leader? Invitation to present at Australia’s national economic development conference
The National Economic Development Conference 2018 (NEDC 2018), to be held in Rockhampton from October 16 -19, invites experts from across Australia to lead the discussion on how economic development can create wealth and achieve jobs and business creation.
Speakers are invited to submit an expression of interest to present at NEDC 2018, the flagship event for Economic Development Australia (EDA), hosted by Rockhampton Regional Council. Presenters are encouraged to take a fresh approach in addressing the latest global trends in the following topic streams:
Winning in job and business creation. An old game with new rules for success
Disruptive innovation to diversify economic growth
NEDC features practical techniques and best practice case studies so applicants are encouraged to ensure their presentations provide take home learnings for delegates. Those who successfully apply to speak at NEDC will join some of Australia’s thought leaders in economic development and business creation, including;
Mark Bouris who is well known for building disruptive businesses. Mark is the author of Wealth Wizard, The Yellow Brick Road to Your Financial Security, and What it Takes, he is also currently featuring on the new Channel 7 TV Show, The Mentor.
Dr Catherine Ball is an author, founder, and ethics advocate working across global projects where robotics and new technology meet environmental protection. Dr Ball is now working with the application of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) aka drone technology across remote communities, schools, industry, and citizen scientists.
Chris Helder is a business communication genius and master storyteller whose presentations have radically transformed how thousands of people worldwide communicate with clients, customers, colleagues, staff and teams. Abstract submissions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. gov.au before July 17, 2018. Speakers of accepted abstracts will be advised by July 26 and will receive a discounted conference registration of $900 payable by August 10, 2018.
