This webinar aims to upskill business advisors to be able to provide basic energy management advice and information about NSW Government programs to businesses they advise. The course will assist business advisors to:
- understand how energy is generated and consumed
- understand how to analyse energy bills
- identify and evaluate energy saving opportunities for businesses
- understand and explain OEH programs for business
Energy costs impact all businesses and capital expenditure decisions impact energy costs for the lifespan of a business. Unfortunately, many businesses lack time to explore various energy management options. Business advisors are well placed to provide advice on energy management when delivering business advice, during business start-up or later on.
Nick has spent the past 15 years working with Australian businesses to implement a range of energy management practices. He has high-level experience across a range of diverse industry sectors, including but not limited to, agribusiness, automotive, food and beverage, mining oil and gas, government, wine and tourism.
Nick is a recipient of the British Council Eureka Prize for his work in energy management, and an advisor to the World Economic Forum on sustainable consumption and resource security.
Luke’s experience is grounded in the field of energy management. He has significant experience across a range of areas including energy auditing, process analysis, refrigeration systems and sustainability.
Luke is responsible for leading projects to increase the energy efficiency of businesses specifically in the food and beverage industry.
