Patrick Donovan | CEO, Music Victoria
Patrick Donovan has been the Chief Executive Officer of Music Victoria, the membership based peak association of contemporary music in the southern state of Victoria, since its inception in 2010. Music Victoria works closely with local, state and federal government, offering an independent collective to represent the needs of the music industry, and delivers a number of government funded programs to support live music venues and promoters, artists, women leaders, and regional communities.
Mr Donovan has been instrumental in developing Melbourne’s international brand as a global music city, building ties and sharing best practice with overseas markets in the United States, ASIA, the UK and Europe, presenting on topics including ‘’Melbourne Music City’’ at numerous international conferences.
Francesca Valmorbida | Municipal Association of Victoria
Francesca is the Arts & Culture Policy Advisor for the Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV), strengthening the creative and visitor economies by building collaborative eco-systems across Victorian councils.
Francesca works with Local, State and Federal governments and agencies, peak bodies, and interstate associations to build capacity, embed good practice, and facilitate economic, social and cultural community benefit.
Beau Reid | City of Parramatta
Beau Reid is the Night Time Economy Officer at City of Parramatta, Sydney’s Central City and one of Australia’s fastest growing local government areas. Beau lead the development of the Parramatta Night City Framework 2020-2024, an ambitious 5-year night time economy that sets a roadmap for a future 24-hour CBD. Beau leads the night time economy portfolio for the City, including policy development, planning, advocacy, strategic partnerships, business development, activation strategy and community engagement.
In conjunction with his role at City of Parramatta, Beau is a member of the NSW Night Time Economy Councils Committee and Australian Local Government Safe Cities Network.
