Simon Carabetta | WA AustCyber Innovation Hub
Dad, husband, self-confessed wrestling fan and former high school teacher, Simon has taken his passion for education, technology and innovation and transformed it into helping to create economic growth in Western Australia’s cyber security sector. Simon is a former high school media studies teacher who has a demonstrated love of public speaking and bringing the best out of others. He is an advocate of ‘grass roots cyber’ and engaging with students from a young age about the careers and limitless possibilities in cyber security.

Adam Bennett is a globally recognised cybersecurity leader, innovator, ethical hacker, and qualified industry expert. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Adam has led Red Piranha from its conception in 2013 to become one of Australia’s renowned and awarded cybersecurity organisations.
Adam’s passion and driving vision is to provide comprehensive cybersecurity protection from the growing threat landscape by offering enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions to businesses of all sizes.
Peter Bouhlas | WA Chief Information Security Office of Digital Government
Peter Bouhlas is responsible for developing WA’s cyber security strategy, threat intelligence, incident response and training and awareness capabilities. Peter provides leadership with a collaborative approach to raise cyber security standards, practices and maturity for the public sector and is a board member of the Security Research Institute and Chair of the Computer and Security Science Consultative Committee at ECU.
