The City of Kingston is about 20km south of Melbourne’s Central Business District. Reporting to the General Manager Planning and Development, you will bring a fresh perspective to facilitating a pathway for business investment and innovation into the City. Leading a capable and autonomous team, you will engage and inspire your team members to continue to perform at a high level and build upon the strong foundations from the retiring Manager. With an enabling environment that will allow you to bring innovation and creativity to the role, you will develop deep and strong connections with the local business community and be able to ‘join the dots’ to ensure the business community has the broadest possible reach in community life.

You bring a strategic mind and a track record of converting plans into action. You have a reputation for building strong relationships and have solid experience in developing economic plans. Being an enthusiastic individual, you have a strong commercial and business acumen and have the ability to influence at the senior level. Your team leadership skills are sound and you have developed high performing cultures that leverage the talents of your team.
