Manager Economic and Community Development | Moree Plains Shire Council | NSW

Forming part of the Planning & Community Development Department, this position contributes to the organisations goals through preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of strategic economic, community and/or social plans as an integrated part of Council’s planning processes.

The successful applicant must have tertiary qualifications at Degree Level or higher in the Economic Development, Social Sciences and Community Development relevant professional experience. (Note:  Considerable relevant practical experience may be taken into account as being equivalent to formal qualifications but may result in appointment at a lower level). 

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017 – from Band 3 Level 3 Grade 18 Step 1 $1,769.90 – Step 3 $1,902.85 per 35hr week with grading dependent upon level of experience and qualifications.
