We are seeking a talented senior leader from the public, private or community sectors to join our client’s executive leadership team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping, driving and delivering outcomes to improve the lives of First Australians, and play a pivotal role in building a responsive and capable workforce.
You will lead a small ‘tiger’ team to support the Regional Network to initiate and plan an identified series of geographically and sectorally diverse projects, targeting significant areas of economic opportunity for Indigenous Australians.
In doing so, you will deliver:
- enhanced Regional Network staff capability in economic development
- enhanced Regional Network staff capability to achieve results from project management
You will be adept at building the partnerships and stakeholder relationships required to deliver projects.
The role requires ‘hands-on’ leadership of work teams to produce results in a resource-constrained environment.
Knowledge of and experience in relevant industry sectors e.g. mining, construction or civil engineering would be an advantage in understanding the employment implications of new development opportunities.
This role requires extensive travel.
A baseline security clearance would be well regarded however if one is not held you must have the ability to be able to gain one.
