Fixed Term Full Time (until 31 January 2020)

Band 5 – $67,675 – $78,864 (+ 9.5% super & RDO)

Council’s Economic Development unit works to ensure that Hobsons Bay continues to be a great place to visit, do business and invest. The Business Support Officer position is a new fixed term full time position that will provide high level administrative and technical support to Council’s Economic Development unit consistent with the Hobsons Bay Economic Development Strategy.

The successful applicant will plan, promote and coordinate a business training and networking calendar (including business awards in October 2019) which responds directly to the local environment; assist with communications prepared by the unit; and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders including businesses, business groups, and residents wanting to start a business, or engage with Council’s economic development offering.
