Australian economic development professionals are working hard to insulate their local economies from the far-reaching impacts associated with COVID 19 and support their local businesses and industries. For many professionals, this crisis follows many years of drought, as well as the worst Australian bushfire season ever experienced.

This EDA Knowledge Hub provides relevant funding links, resources, case studies and learnings from Australia and around the world, to assist economic development professionals plan and implement economic recovery following a major disaster or crisis.

EDA will update and add to this hub on an on-going basis. If you have suggestions for additional resources or questions, please contact us.

Self-isolation and physical distancing requirements is a great excuse to avail yourself of the numerous webinars EDA is offering to support economic recovery initiatives. While some of these sessions were produced in response to the recent bushfire disaster, they all provide principles for economic recovery following any kind of emergency event. The webinar library will be further developed with specific COVID-19 response in coming weeks.
