Economic Development Australia (EDA) is assisting bushfire impacted communities across Australia as they work to rebuild local economies. As the national peak body for economic development professionals with over 850 members, EDA is working with relevant stakeholders to ensure that local economic recovery efforts reflect global best practice. Many of our members are already working on the ground in their local communities as part of the relief activities. Economic development professionals have deep connections to and a strong understanding of their local social and economic ecosystems and play a crucial role in community recovery.
This knowledge hub provides relevant funding links, resources, case studies and learnings from around the world. EDA will update and add to this hub on an on-going basis. If you have suggestions for additional resources or questions, please contact us.
If you have experience and expertise that may be of benefit to EDA members involved in economic recovery, we would love to hear from you. Please register here.
